My Ultimate Disney Bucket List
It’s always been my dream to visit all of the Disney Parks around the world. Each park has its own amazing experiences, food and Disney goodness and I would just love to see it all (a girl can dream right?).
So, I thought I would write down my bucket list and put it out into the universe.
Some of the things listed are little things that should be easily accomplished when visiting a Disney Park, some more difficult (and expensive). But as the name of this post suggests, this is my ultimate Disney bucket list, so I have included a bit of everything. Surprisingly it’s not that long right now! But I think I’ll add to it as I think of more.
Also, just want to send an apology to my boyfriend if he’s reading this as I will be making you come with me to complete this bucket list!
1. Visit All Of The Disney Parks
Obviously I had to put this as my first one. It’s been my dream for as long as I can remember to visit all of the Disney parks. I know that my mother wants to do the same, so her and I can do it together! Each park has it’s own magic and differences and I’d love to experience them all!
If you’re not sure what all of the parks are, see below.
- Disneyland Paris Resort - France
- Disneyland
- Walt Disney Studios
- Walt Disney World Resort - Florida
- Magic Kingdom
- Animal Kingdom
- Hollywood Studios
- Epcot
- Disneyland Resort - California
- Disneyland
- California Adventure
- Tokyo Disney Resort - Japan
- Tokyo Disneyland
- Tokyo DisneySea
- Hong Kong Disneyland Resort - Hong Kong
- Shanghai Disneyland – China
I’ve been lucky enough to visit Disneyland Paris a few times, but would still love to go back! And (as long as nothing changes our plans again), I will hopefully be going to Disney World Florida next year!!
Anyone else coming along?
2. Meet More Disney Characters
Now, if you know me you may know that I am a little scared of people in costumes (regular fancy dress is fine). In most cases I tend to avoid them. However, obviously the characters at Disney are part of the magic and I push my slight fear to greet them.
I would love to meet more characters, especially those that I’ve never met before. I haven’t met any “real” characters, only those in covered costumes (e.g., Goofy, Chip & Dale etc.), so that’s definitely on my bucket list! Meeting some of the princesses would be amazing!!
I think I’m more apprehensive about meeting the “real” characters as they talk to you and I struggle to make sense when I’m nervous and I’m worried about making a fool of myself ha!
3. Experience Character Dining
This leads on from the previous point. Character dining is so magical, and I would love to do it with a range of characters. I have done it once, when I first visited Disneyland Paris with Winnie The Pooh and the gang and it always makes me smile when I think about it and look back on old photos.
4. Experience The Special Events
I’ve watched so many videos and seen so many photos of the special events at the various Disney parks. Christmas and Halloween are two that I definitely want to visit for!
Even though I don’t like scary things, Haunted Mansion is one of my favourite rides. So, riding that during Halloween & the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party would be amazing!!
And Christmas is my favourite time of year, and Disney is one of my favourite things, so naturally I’d love to combine the two!!
5. Experience All Of The Festivals At Disney World Florida
These festivals are usually put in the same section as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. But I’ve done them separately as I don’t necessarily need to experience the parties to enjoy (if that makes sense).
Disney World currently has three festivals – Flower & Garden, International Food & Wine and Festival Of The Arts.
As mentioned above, I’ll hopefully be in Disneyworld next year and it’ll be during the International Food & Wine Festival which means more food!!
6. Try Something From Every Country In Epcot
If you’re a foodie like me, then Epcot is just the dream, isn’t it? Walking around and experiencing the food & culture from a range of different countries – but staying in one place! Classic fish & chips from the UK, macarons from France, Churros from Mexico and so much more!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!
If you’re looking for a blog post all about the food at Epcot you have to read this post by Kimberly from A Night Owl as it shows some of the amazing food available!!
7. Eat All The Mickey Snacks
Mickey shaped snacks at Disney is a must if you ask me! There’s so much variety such as pretzels, waffles, ice cream bars, cookies and so much more!!
I have my eye on the Rice Krispie treat the most though! I know they’re pretty basic, but I used to make Rice Krispie treats all of the time and I love them – and these ones are just better because they’re in the shape of Mickey!
8. Try Dole Whip
I’m constantly seeing dole people talking about dole whip and I just think it sounds great – so it’s got it’s own point! Dole Whip is pineapple flavoured soft serve ice cream, which I think sounds delicious!!
9. Have All The Disney Décor Around My House
I’ve decided to include this one as it’s a bit of fun. Whenever I visit Disney (or just any shop in general that sells Disney) I always love all of the home décor.
I don’t want any Disney themed rooms. But I think having the odd subtle (and not so subtle) Disney piece around the house adds some magic around your home.
So, what do you think? Have I missed something really important off my list? Have you got your own Disney bucket list? I’d love to know – so tell me all about it in the comments below!
Sending you all love and magic!
