Meet A Small Business - RYE The Collection
👋🏻HEY guys!! I am Beth, the face and name behind @ryethecollection! We are a UNISEX clothing brand specialising in up cycling and hand tie dying for all sizes! (Women’s / men’s / kiddies)! Me and my friend Nat started this little collection back in lockdown due to being super demotivated and wanting to have something fun to focus on, even if our only customer were out mums lol! Nat is now currently taking some time out as she has got a full-time job in landaannn (🙌🏻) so I’m now a one gal band!!!
RYE started off with the concept of upcycling and hand tie dying branded socks, to add a bit of funk to your daily lives, using vegan friendly dying products ofc!! Experimenting with some beaut (and not so beaut) colours, trial and error basically😉
In the past 10 months I am so overwhelmed with how my little page has grown, I have some incredibly loyal and supportive customers, and also, a big thing for me, I have made some friends for life!! It has opened my eyes to a networking community that is beyond encouraging and demonstrated daily that it is all about community and NOT competition🧡
We now have branched out from socks and into tie dying masks, also having recently launched our ‘Cosy Collection’ which consists of hoodies, joggers, crop tops, tee, cycling shorts and manyyyy more! Its time to get cosy while we all #stayathome! Our orders are all custom made so basically DM us whatever colour(s) you like and we’ll get it tailor made to your preferences!! Keep an eye out for some exclusive festive bundle deals and also a little collab coming back that everyone has been asking so much for👀
My personal favourite, and a collection that completely overwhelmed us with love is our Pride Collection! Launched in June to celebrate Gay Pride from #home. I strongly believe that Gay Pride month should be something celebrated e v e r y month🌈🌈
FUN fact (I’m sure none of you knew!) RYE actually stands for:
Rework Your Everyday
...with the message of SHOP sustainably and small!! This is something that is so important to me not only because of RYE but as a person, I feel that especially after the backlashes of this year and the direct effects onto small businesses it has had, it is super important to SHOP SMALL BIZZNIZZ’s and LOCAL, lets be honest, will amazon even notice you didn’t shop with them this year? Nah uhhhh.
Anyway thanks for listening and thanks for the continued support!! Would love to offer 15% off our entire page to anyone that DMs us CODECERYS🧡🧡🧡🧡

When I first started in my chosen industry, I didn’t know who I was. This much is obvious, from the way I flitted about. From one thing to the next, taking on any opportunity that felt like it would lead me closer to my dreams - even if those weren’t so clear either. A punk band here, a guitar lesson there.. my heart had always said that music was my calling, but my brain wasn’t quite putting the pieces together. I didn’t have an identity. I didn’t know how to define myself.
It’s a coming of age story, for sure, when you have to figure out who you are - and do it on purpose. But accepting that person, and stepping into that power.. that’s an entirely different one.
