7 Inspiring Blogs You Need To Follow
As a blogger, I thought it was about time to support some of my fellow bloggers and write a post about some of my current favourites. Some of these blogs I’ve followed for ages, and others are recent. But they’re all absolutely amazing!!
So, enjoy reading and don’t forget to go over and give them all some love *heart
This isn’t an exhausted list. I plan to create a few of these a year – plus I will share some on my Instagram. Check out my YouTube and Instagram blog posts too as a number of them also have their own blogs which I mention in those posts. Each blogger’s blog is linked in their name.
Steph Allman - Steph Writes Stuff
Steph is just awesome! She creates a wide range of lifestyle blog posts and I always love how they’re written! Steph is also a digital marketer, so shares great tips that she’s learnt from being in that industry.
She also writes great book recommendations which I find super helpful! Although my “to be read” pile is currently huge, and I really don’t need any more books…Steph always seems to convince me that I do need more books *laughing crying
Oooo also…she’s always making cocktails on her Instagram story!! And even though I don’t really drink alcohol anymore – I love watching them *heart
Jenny – Jenny In Neverland
Jenny is one of the kindest people I have ever spoken to! I think I first found her on Twitter and joined her blogging community Facebook group. She gives such helpful advice and is more than willing to listen to how you feel when you’ve had a bad day. She’s given me so many helpful tips on how to improve my self-confidence and my blog and I am so thankful for that *heart
Her blog focuses on blogging, personal development and well-being and I’m constantly reading and re-reading her posts. I definitely take a lot of inspiration from Jenny and I can’t wait to see what else she produces.
Sarah Lauren - Sarah Lau Blogs
I’ve been following Sarah for ages! I just love everything about her. She’s very much got a “no bullshit” attitude and just says things the way it is and that’s definitely the style of writing that I like. She talks openly in her blog posts and I enjoy doing the same.
I’ve messaged her so many times to ask where she’s got things from/how she edits her photos and she’s always so lovely in her replies – so thank you Sarah!!*heart face
Sarah also shares loads of Disney and I bloody love Disney!! See final blogger mentioned.
Abi & Amy – Talk Tits and Tequila
These girls are absolutely amazing! They’re so open and honest and discuss important topics that impact us women. Their topics focus on body confidence, dating and so many others!
One of my favourite posts is their one on the fear of rejection (click here to read it). This is definitely something that I can relate to. And if you’re like me and not that great at dealing with rejection, I highly recommend that you read that post!
If you’re ever looking to read some no-nonsense advice – definitely check out their blog and Instagram!
Molly – Self-Care Sisterhood
If I’m being completely honest, it was only recently that I realised that there was a Self-Care Sisterhood blog! I’ve followed their Instagram for a while now and I just love it! It’s filled with so many great tips and positive energy and the blog is the same. She talks a lot about self-care, but in a variety of different ways and this is the niche that I am currently moving my blog into also!
I recently read her post about toxic productivity (click here to read) and it’s definitely something that I can relate to! We constantly put ourselves under so much pressure to be productive and be constantly doing something. But you know what? There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with taking time to yourself! Whether that’s an hour, a day, a week, several months or even longer! You always need to be your own first priority!
Side Note – if you are looking for some ideas about what to do on your “lazy days”, I have written a whole post about it – click here to read.
I’m constantly saving her Instagram posts to my “inspirational quotes” folder as they’re always so amazing and no-bullshit – which is what I love!
Lauren Mallin – That Museum Girl
Lauren is one of the most wonderfully lovely people I have ever met!! I say met…spoken to online*laughing She is so incredibly kind and always supports me and we love a good ol’ chat! I don’t think I’d ever read a blog dedicated to history until I started talking to Lauren and now, I follow so many!
As, I think I’ve mentioned several times, I love learning, so I find history blogs so fascinating.
Lauren makes the facts easy to digest and understand and I just love her work!! She discusses a wide range of historical events; but pays special attention to her life working in a museum and her favourite drink – gin.
She’s also recently started the ‘Disney History A-Z’ on her Instagram and, if you already didn’t know, I love Disney!! Which brings me onto my next blogger.
Megan - Megan Loves Disney
As I previously mentioned – I love Disney! So, I obviously had to include Megan from Megan Loves Disney!! Megan’s blog focuses on her experiences and tips for Disneyland Paris which is one of my favourite places I’ve ever been!! I haven’t been in a few years – so I just live my Disney life through Megan’s blog and Instagram (even though Instagram decided that I didn’t follow her?) and that’s okay with me for now *laughing crying I just love everything about the vibe of her blog and Instagram and highly suggest that any of you Disney lovers out there go and check her out!!
I hope you have enjoyed reading. Who are your favourite bloggers? Let me know in the comments.
