Some of my most favourite projects!
Blog
I’ve always loved writing freely. Whether that’s a private journal, stories in English class or blog posts (I used to have a joint blog with someone else before going solo). Having a space to openly share my thoughts & feelings and let the words flow has always brought me such joy. This in-turn helped when it came to university projects where I needed to be a little more structured. I would allow the words to just fall onto the page before going back and refining to ensure that it fit within the required assignment. Writing essays for university also helped my blog writing in return as it encouraged me to research my topics further in order to add more information and context. My love for research & learning, along with writing seems to make the perfect team.

My Relationship With My Body Hair
This is quite a tough post for me to write as it’s something that I’ve struggled with for a really long time.
I felt really vulnerable writing this post. However, the feeback I often get is that readers appreciate my honesty and that it something that I look to all elements of my life.

Self Care Isn’t Selfish - The First 6 Months Of Motherhood
If you were following me on Instagram before I took maternity leave, you’ll know that I used the phrase “self-care isn’t selfish” quite a lot - because it’s true! Taking proper care of yourself is vital (whether you’re a Mother or not). If you aren’t okay, then it’s impossible to show up as your best self in whatever capacity you need to.

5 Things I Love About My Postpartum Self
During pregnancy, I was the happiest and most confident in my body & mind that I have been in well probably forever. My anxiety was pretty much non-existent and I enjoyed almost every second. However, all that came crashing down after my little one was born. The hormones, the emotions, everything is so all over the place and it truly is a rollercoaster.

I use my Instagram as a no pressure way to share snippets from my blog, but also have more personal connections with my readers and followers. I take a blog post that has been doing well and break it down into smaller posts for either stories or my feed. This encourages a more chatty approach and I get a deeper understanding of my audiences thoughts & views. On numerous occasions I taken this information and either written a new blog post or updated the previous as this helps to keep it more relevent & up-to-date.
Although there can be a lot of negativity around Instagram (and social media in general), Instagram is one of my favourite places to be - it just takes time to find your kind of people.
See below for the kind of content I create on Instagram.
